CMS and SaaS, with your name on the door.

Things we operate: RokData, Dog Walker Manager, the CMS (barber and hotel demos), Time Keeper, Operator One and TACOPS. Each with a live screenshot, what it does, and why the stack is that stack. Websites we run — Found Phones, FSTVL, Lakes Directory — are on Work.

Homepage of RokData

RokData

rokdata.co.uk ↗

Our marketing and SEO cockpit for small businesses. When it is complete, it can save a fortune on ongoing marketing and SEO retainers — AI works with you, hand in hand, to do the work, including if you are not technical. Social, SEO Studio, security scans and Deep Metrics in one workspace.

  • SaaS
  • SEO
  • Social
  • AI
  • In progress

Features

  • AI that works with you on marketing and SEO — not a report you never read
  • Social Hub: compose, approve and schedule (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and more)
  • SEO Studio: add your sites, run audits, track keywords, turn findings into next steps
  • Authorised security scans on domains you verify
  • Deep Metrics: one health view across social, SEO and scans
  • Starter is free; Growth and Solid when you need more brands, keywords and scans

SEO

  • Canonical marketing site on rokdata.co.uk
  • Copy aimed at SMB marketing / SEO dashboard searches
  • Plans, industries, FAQ and about as real pages

Technical

  • Custom PHP SaaS, shared-hosting friendly
  • OAuth for the channels you already run
  • Cron-powered publishing
  • Still being finished — already usable on a free Starter plan

Why this tech

Small businesses should not have to keep paying an agency to post, audit and explain the numbers. RokData puts the work in one calm cockpit, with AI as a pair of hands — not a black box. Built for people who are not technical, on hosting they already understand.

Dog Walker Manager

appbase.page/apps/dogmom ↗

Our SaaS for professional dog walkers and pet-care teams. Clients, pet profiles, bookings, visits, messages and weekly invoices in one dashboard. Starter from £4.99 a month; these screens are from the live product page.

  • SaaS
  • Bookings
  • Invoicing
  • PWA

Features

  • Client directory and detailed pet profiles (medical, behaviour, access)
  • Booking requests, weekly calendar and a staff day board
  • Visit reports with notes and photos
  • Weekly invoices, Stripe or PayPal checkout, client invoice portal
  • In-app messaging, reminders and an ICS calendar feed on Pro
  • Installable PWA; optional branded iOS and Android apps

SEO

  • Product page on AppBase with plans, comparison and a public demo
  • Hosted subdomain per customer; custom domain is a planned extra
  • Acquisition is the AppBase catalogue and referral, not a blog

Technical

  • Custom PHP SaaS on LiteSpeed (AppBase)
  • Multi-role logins: admin, staff and client
  • Stripe and PayPal on Pro; BACS / cash notes on Starter
  • Try the demo at petdemo.appbase.page

Why this tech

Walkers live on their phones between jobs. A PWA they can pin, a calendar that shows clashes, and invoices generated from the week’s walks — not a spreadsheet plus a separate booking plugin. The brochure site for a Lakes walker can stay WordPress; this is the ops layer.

Homepage of Barber Booking

Barber Booking

barber.appbase.page ↗

Our CMS in use as a barbershop. Blackwood Barbers is a live demo: multi-chair booking, deposits, service menus, team, gallery and an admin the shop actually edits. Same platform, different skin.

  • CMS
  • Booking
  • Deposits
  • PWA

Features

  • Online booking: service → barber → live slots
  • Deposits (percent or fixed) or pay in full, Stripe or pay-at-shop
  • Service catalogue, barber profiles, hours and time off
  • Gallery, blog, testimonials and a contact inbox
  • Admin CMS with installable PWA for staff

SEO

  • Demo on an AppBase subdomain — a customer site sits on their domain
  • Editable page sections, meta and social from admin
  • Service detail pages rather than one long menu dump

Technical

  • White-label CMS on LiteSpeed (AppBase)
  • Live slot engine from hours and existing bookings
  • Stripe on Pro / Business; bank or pay-at-shop on every plan

Why this tech

A barber shop will not keep a diary in a generic form plugin. Slots, deposits and who is on which chair have to live in the CMS. The public site is the shop window; the admin is the till.

Homepage of Hotel Booking

Hotel Booking

hotel.appbase.page ↗

The same CMS as a hotel. Alpine House is the live demo: rooms, availability search, guest checkout, extras, and iCal sync for channel calendars. Rothay House in Ambleside is a production B&B on the same stack.

  • CMS
  • Room booking
  • iCal
  • Stripe

Features

  • Room types, rooms and facilities with galleries
  • Date and guest search, quote, extras and checkout
  • Seasonal pricing, coupons, min-stay and cut-off rules
  • Stripe or pay-on-arrival; booking calendar in admin
  • iCal export and import for channel managers
  • Dining, spa, activities, gallery, blog — all editable

SEO

  • Demo on hotel.appbase.page; Rothay House is live on rothay-house.com
  • Room and destination pages the CMS can keep fresh
  • Structured booking path instead of a third-party widget overlay

Technical

  • White-label CMS on LiteSpeed (AppBase)
  • Inventory calendar per room, not a shared Google Sheet
  • iCal sync on Business so Booking.com and the site do not double-sell

Why this tech

Hotels already run channel managers. Direct booking only works if availability is honest and iCal stays in sync. The CMS owns rooms, rates and the public pages; Stripe takes the card. A WordPress theme with a plugin bolted on is how overbookings happen.

Time Keeper

login only

Our time and attendance app. Clock in from a phone or a shared tablet, see who is on site, run rotas and timesheets, then export for payroll. There is no public homepage — it is login only — so these are the screens staff actually use.

  • Time & attendance
  • GPS / kiosk
  • PWA
  • Payroll export

Features

  • Live Who’s in board with map, site fences and elapsed time
  • Staff clock on the phone (PWA, GPS, clock in / out, holiday)
  • Shared tablet kiosk with a 4-digit PIN
  • Rotas, punches, people, sites and jobs
  • Timesheet submit and approve for the week
  • Payroll export for BrightPay, Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks, HMRC Basic PAYE Tools, FreeAgent, Employment Hero and more

SEO

  • Login-only product — no public marketing site to rank
  • Acquisition is demo and referral, not a brochure
  • Screenshots here because a crawler cannot see past the PIN

Technical

  • Custom PHP product on LiteSpeed
  • Installable staff-clock PWA for phones
  • Kiosk mode for a tablet on the wall
  • GPS optional; clock-in still works if location is skipped

Why this tech

Payroll wants a file, not a screenshot of a timesheet. Export mappings to the packages shops already run. A PIN kiosk for the shop floor, a PWA for people out on jobs, and a live board for whoever is asking “who is in?”.

Homepage of Operator One

Operator One

operatorone.co.uk ↗

Our AI support widget with human handoff. One script tag, tickets, knowledge base, Stripe billing. Built for teams who will not pay Intercom prices.

  • SaaS
  • Stripe
  • PWA
  • Booking links

Features

  • Embeddable widget, AI replies, escalate to a person
  • Multi-site keys for agencies
  • Stripe plans from £14.99/month
  • Calendly / Acuity-style booking links inside the chat
  • Installable PWA for the dashboard

SEO

  • Canonical, sitemap, Google Analytics
  • JSON-LD on the marketing site (×3)
  • Copy aimed at AI widget / human-handoff searches

Technical

  • Custom PHP product on LiteSpeed
  • Stripe for predictable SaaS billing
  • PWA so operators can pin the desk to a phone
  • Script-tag embed — no React lock-in for the customer site

Why this tech

Stripe because it is the billing customers already trust. A PWA because support staff live on their phones. A script tag because the widget has to drop onto WordPress, Magento or a static page without a build step.

Homepage of TACOPS

TACOPS

tacops.app ↗

White-label operations portal for security firms. Each client gets a branded subdomain: rotas, QR/GPS attendance, onboarding, incidents.

  • White-label SaaS
  • Subdomains
  • QR / GPS
  • Rotas

Features

  • Per-client branded site on its own subdomain
  • Rotas and officer onboarding
  • QR and GPS attendance
  • Incident logging for the control room

SEO

  • Product-led marketing page (app domain)
  • Canonical, robots and structured data are a planned pass
  • Acquisition is largely demo and referral, not blog SEO

Technical

  • Custom PHP SaaS on LiteSpeed
  • Subdomain tenancy so each firm looks like their own product
  • Mobile-first attendance (QR / GPS on the gate)

Why this tech

Security firms sell trust. A shared URL with our name on it kills the pitch. Subdomains let them white-label. Custom PHP over a generic roster app so attendance and incidents match how a control room actually works.
