Trades van with clean vinyl side lettering, name and phone readable from the road

Vehicles

Lettering that can be read at 30mph.

Work vans, fleet sides, a mark that does not fall off at Shap. Name, trade, phone. We can supply cut vinyl for you to apply, or fit it here after a wash and degrease.

  • Car and van lettering
  • Simple livery and one-colour identities
  • Full or partial wraps by enquiry
  • Laptop, tool-chest and small-run stickers

De-chroming, camper stripes and two-tone live on the vinyl page, with the close-ups. See vinyl.

Cumbrian shop front with white cut vinyl lettering applied to the window glass

Windows and walls

Glass, walls, one clean application.

Shop windows in town, frosted privacy bands, opening hours that can be changed without a painter. Inside, cut vinyl on painted walls: logos, wayfinding, a line of type that sits flat.

  • Window lettering and opening hours
  • Frosted bands where you need privacy without a blind
  • Interior wall graphics, cut vinyl, not a printed poster
  • A ready-to-apply pack if you are fitting it yourself

Antique gold mirror with white cut-vinyl table plan lettering, standing on an easel in a Lake District barn venue

Weddings

Table plans, welcome signs, names on glass.

The piece you lean at the door, not a foam board that warps in a damp barn. We work from your guest list and a photo of the mirror so the type actually fits the frame. You keep the mirror. The vinyl can come off after the day if you want the glass back.

  • Table plans and seating charts on antique or plain mirrors
  • Welcome signs, order of the day, and bar or gift notes
  • White, gold, black or a colour matched to the stationery
  • Supply ready to apply, or we fit it in the studio

Print and artwork in the Kendal studio: cards, banners and signage being made

Print

Print when you need it made here.

Cards, banners, signage and artwork from the Kendal studio. Small-run typically 3–5 working days. Large-format 5–10. Collection from Mintsfeet welcome.

  • Cards and small-run stationery
  • Banners and large-format signage
  • Artwork prepared here, not a file dumped on a shop counter

Everyday vinyl still lives on Etsy and eBay. Print is quoted from the brief. See print.

How we work

  1. Brief: a photo of the van, window, wall or mirror, plus what you want it to say. For a table plan, send the guest list. Or pick a ready-made design from the shops.
  2. Direction: we quote, then send artwork to approve.
  3. Refine: we gather your feedback, make the agreed changes, then cut, weed and laminate where it needs it.
  4. Fit: at Mintsfeet, or we ship a kit UK-wide.

We fit from Mintsfeet in Kendal. Campervans, vans, shop windows and wedding mirrors across Windermere, Bowness, Ambleside, Grasmere, Keswick, Ulverston and down to Lancaster and Morecambe. Collection welcome; kits ship UK-wide.

Working with us

Every job is different, but you will receive a fixed written quote before we cut. No unexpected extras. You can collect a ready-to-fit kit, or we fit it here. We work beyond the Lakes when the brief is right, and we ship kits UK-wide.

What you leave with

  • Lettering, vinyl or print cut for the actual surface, not a generic kit
  • Artwork you have approved before anything is cut
  • A fitted job at Mintsfeet, or a weeded kit with transfer tape
  • Your choice of ready-made from the shops, or a custom piece from a photo

FAQ

Every job is different, but you will receive a fixed written quote before we cut. No unexpected extras. A photo of the van, window, wall or mirror, plus what you want it to say, is enough to price it. Ready-made kits from the shops have their own prices on the listing.
Shop items: 2–3 working days. Bespoke cut work: typically 5–7 once the artwork is signed off. A de-chrome or camper fit is booked in so the vehicle can stay with us for the job. Small-run print is usually 3–5 working days; large-format 5–10.
Everyday designs ship from Etsy and eBay. Custom starts with a photo and a brief. If a kit already fits, we start there. If it does not, we draw it around the body, the glass or the frame.
Simple lettering, wall decals and many wedding mirrors, yes. We can supply a weeded kit with transfer tape and a fit note. Window chrome and camper panels are fussy around seals and curves. Those we prefer to fit.
Most vehicles, windows and wedding pieces are fitted at Unit 2, Mintsfeet. Collection is welcome. Kits ship UK-wide. Site work is by enquiry when the glass or wall cannot come to us.
Fitted on sound, clean surfaces, wrap film comes off later. We will not wrap over peeling chrome or failing paint and pretend it will last. De-chroming covers the brightwork; the original stays underneath.
Yes. Vinyl on your mirror or glass: table plans, welcome signs, names, bar wording. Send a photo of the piece and the guest list. We can apply it here or send a weeded pack.
Yes, when you need it made here: cards, banners, signage and artwork. Everyday vinyl still lives on Etsy and eBay. Print is quoted from the brief, the size and the run. See print.
Photos of the vehicle, wall or mirror, plus the wording. For a table plan, send the guest list as a spreadsheet or a tidy list. For a van, include the make and a few angles. We quote, then send artwork to approve.
Yes. The studio is in Kendal. We fit locally across Cumbria and Lancashire, and we ship kits UK-wide. A call or a photo is enough to start; not every job needs to be down the road.
